TWO people had a miraculous escape when their plane crashed down near Ross-on-Wye.
Emergency services were called to English Bicknor, near Symonds Yat, on Friday July 27 at 12.30pm, after a plane crashed and caught fire while attempting to land at an airfield in Eastbach.
The man in his 60s and the woman in her 40s managed to escape from the wreckage despite being injured.
The man was treated at the scene for a serious head injury and back injuries and was airlifted to Gloucester Royal Hospital for further treatment, and the woman suffered a minor head injury and neck pain.
