INSTITUTE - Much Cowarne WI will meet in Stoke Lacy Village Hall at 7.30pm tomorrow (Friday). The speaker will be Rachel Hicks who runs ice cream company Just Rachel.
She’ll be talking about her business and will be giving out free samples of her wares.
COFFEE - There will not be a coffee morning in the church on Saturday. The next will be on August 11, hosted by the bell ringers.
MARKET - On Saturday from 10.30am to noon there will be a produce market in the village hall. Anyone who grows their own fruit and vegetables and who wants to sell or swap any surplus items is welcome to take part. Refreshments will be available.
Admission £1, to include a raffle ticket with a chance to win a basket of local produce.
FRIENDSHIP CLUB - In a change to the normal day, the club will meet on Wednesday in Stoke Lacy Village Hall for a talk and a slide show by Penny Platts on Cruising Down the River. From noon a hot meal from the WRVS will be made available. Anyone wishing to eat is asked to call the caterers on 01885 488654 no later than tomorrow (Friday).
Cancellations should be reported to the same number no later than Monday.
