PARISH COUNCIL - The last meeting agreed to request a reduction in the speed limit on Bridge Sollars Road to 40mph. The lengthsman would be strimming paths leading from the recreation field. It was agreed to request that Claypits Lane be reclassified as a road rather than a byway open to all traffic. Litter including broken glass was causing a problem on the recreation field so the clerk would be looking into prices for a larger litter bin. The Jubilee committee had sent a letter of thanks for the contribution towards commemorative mugs and the parish council requested a letter of thanks be sent to the Jubilee Committee to thank them for the successful event that took place over the jubilee weekend. The annual return for 2011/12 and internal auditors report were approved. The next meeting will be on Tuesday at 7.15pm in the parish hall. All welcome.
