PEOPLE with sickness and diarrhoea are being urged to stay at home.
There has been an increase of people attending Hereford County Hospital and other community hospitals with the symptoms, which has led the NHS to advise people to stay at home and drink plenty of water.
However, if your symptoms continue for more than 48 hours, then you should call your GP or call NHS Direct on 0845 4647.
Likewise, if have sickness and diarrhoea, please try not to come into contact with babies, young children, and the elderly. Hospital spokesperson Fiona Gurney said: "Our staff are treating people in A&E as quickly as possible, but we are urging people to only attend A&E for life threatening or serious conditions or illnesses."
