A FARMING aid designed in Herefordshire has been recognised at a coveted awards ceremony.
The Structural Hillmaster, made by Miedema Mercer Machinery at Bowley Court Farms, Hope under Dinmore, makes seed planting more straightforward.
It was awarded a silver medal by the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland (RHASS) under its Technical Innovation Award scheme.
The device is part of a new generation of belt planters designed to cope with slopes.
The awards are the oldest presented by the RHASS.
