MEETING - The Almeley parish meeting is at 8pm in the Village Hall next Wednesday. The agenda can be found on the parish website.
WHIST - Once again there was a good attendance at the fortnightly whist drive in the Village Hall. MC Rick Harris awarded prizes to Gwen Thomas, Kath Jenkins, Rose Howells, Sue Davies, Margaret Goode, Keith Horton, Sandra Payne, Gwen Farmer Wynford Evans , and Margery Phillips. The next drive will be on Tuesday, with play starting at 7.45pm CHURCH - On Sunday the congregation is invited to bring pets to the family service, which starts at 11am. On June 3 it is hoped to have red, white and blue flowers in the church. If anyone is able to contribute flowers in this colour range, or is able to help in any way, please call Edna Hughes on 01544 340268.
