BANE - Garway Live! with ArtsAlive sponsership presents Bane Two and Three on Saturday, May 26, at 8pm in Garway Village Hall. Bane is set on the streets of a nondescript American city following anti-hero Bruce Bane and is akin to a Raymond Chandler novel spliced together with a Quentin Tarrantino movie and a parody of film noir style. The performance uses mime and gesture to conjure the setting and with all the sound effects you would expect from the genre. Writer and creator Joe Bone plays all of the characters, bringing his comic antihero and tale of bloody revenge to life with just his body, his voice and a stunning live guitar soundtrack from Ben Roe. It’s a trilogy, but you can see any show independently or all three in any order. Adults £8, children 14-plus £6. Doors and bar open from 7.15pm. For details and tickets, call 01981 580056 or email bookings@garwaylive.com.
