VILLAGE PLANT DAY - Saturday from 11am.
Plants of all kinds for sale at the playing field; delicious food all day, in the village hall plus other stalls, crafts for children and facepainting; art and demonstrations along with hot soup in the church; Dorstone's Front Room open for local produce and goods; scarecrows around the village and on the green. A great day out for the family and a chance to make your garden even more beautiful and productive. Any plants to sell gratefully received at the field, either on the day or tomorrow (Friday) evening between 6pm and 8pm.
Dorstone PARISH MEETING - The annual parish meeting will be held next Wednesday at 8pm.
There will be a presentation on the activities of the parish council during the last 12 months, neighbourhood planning, the current planning application at Pentre Lane, plus the opportunity to raise items for the parish council to discuss. A warm welcome is extended to all parishioners, in particular new members of the parish.
