A CHIMNEY fire broke out at the historic Rhydspence Inn in Whitney-on-Wye. Fire crews from Eardisland, Kington and the Mid- Wales service were called to the 14th century pub near Hay-on-Wye at 12.20pm on Saturday, April 21. A small blaze started in a wood-burner but did not cause serious damage.
