PARISH MEETING - The Annual Parish Meeting at Saint Mary's Church will be on May 17 at 7.30pm. Everyone is welcome to attend this meeting when the events and affairs of 2011 will be discussed. The accounts are available to view on the website stmaryalmeley.org.uk JUBILEE - The Queen's Jubilee will be celebrated with a street party on June 3 organised by the hall committee and the Almeley Parish Council. DIAMOND JUBILEE - Almeley is having a street party to commemorate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee on June 2, from 3pm. All welcome. This will be a bring and share tea party in the road between the village hall and the school (in the hall if wet). Tea, coffee and soft drinks available in the village hall.
FLICKS IN THE STICKS - April 26 in Almeley village hall at 7.30pm. The film is Patagonia, the story of two women who set out on two very different journeys. Doors open at 7pm.
There is a bar available, cabaret seating and raffle. Tickets are £3.50.
