STORYTELLING FOR ADULTS - Hunting the Giant’s Daughter is at Skenfrith Village Hall on Saturday. As the quest unfolds across star-lit landscapes, blustery mountains and old, deep forests, the warriors tell tales of their exploits and reveal the wisdom of animals and birds. Join Adverse Camber for a night of lively storytelling for adults layered with Welsh and jazz-influenced songs and music from 7pm. Tickets £5 adults, £3 concessions (recommended ages 12-plus).

PRODUCE MARKET - On April 14, at Skenfrith Village Hall, find variety of local produce including fruit and vegetables, cheese, pickles and preserves, meat, apple juice and cider, honey, chocolate and freshly baked bread. Open from 10am to 1pm, entry is free and refreshments are available at the cafe.

COMMUNITY SHOP - This popular enterprise has reopened at weekends and bank holidays from noon to 6pm, selling local produce, refreshments and bric-a-brac. Run on a voluntary basis, all profits go to local charities.
