TREASURE HUNT- A treasure hunt taks place on Sunday, starting at 2pm at the Village Hall, where entry forms are collected. The event entails a walk through the village finding answers to clues. CHILDREN’S ALLOTMENT - Herefordshire Council Community Pride grant scheme has awarded Eardisland in Bloom £750 to equip the children’s allotment at Oakview Allotments. Volunteers will now be able to fill the plot with a shed, water butt, paving, fruit bushes and children’s tools making it suitable for all children to attend with a parent at any time and learn how food is grown. A number of fun educational days will be held throughout the summer to which all children in the parish are welcome; these will be advertised in this column and on the noticeboards.
