PARISH COUNCILS - Ocle Pychard Group and Much Cowarne Group Parish Councils will meet in Burley Gate Village Hall Tuesday, at 7.30pm.
All parishioners are welcome.
HEATING OIL SAVINGS - On Tuesday Ocle Pychard Group Parish Council will be discussing a suggestion that a local oil-buying group should be set up to take advantage of savings through bulk buying. It would be very helpful if established groups would be prepared to share their experiences with the parish clerk at parishclerk@ymail.com LENT LUNCH - Friday, March 23, at 12noon, there will be a lent lunch at Wanaki, Burley Gate (next to the Post Office/Shop). The host will be Audrey Nunn. No fixed price for admission but donations will go to severely disabled children in Afghanistan. There will also be a slide show featuring recent visit to that country.
MOTH TRAPPING AND IDENTIFYING - Paul and Jo Morton have organized a number of free woodland events in Moreton Wood at Ullingswick for 2012. On March 24, from 7pm they have organized an evening of trapping and identification of the amazing variety of moths.
