JUBILEE - For the parishes of Gladestry, Colva, Michaelchurch-on-Arrow and Newchurch celebrations will take place on Monday, June 4, at Gladestry Village Hall, starting at 3pm. There will be children’s sports, a bouncy castle, teddy bears’ picnic, face painting and several displays and competitions.
In the evening there will be a hog roast, puddings and bar and a ceilidh with music by Bandamania. A beacon will be lit as part of the All-Wales Beacon Lighting.
Organisers express thanks to Awards for All Wales for giving a lottery grant to help finance the occasion.
