POSSIBLY the UK’s largest single rural development, boasting 20 new homes, is soon to open in a north Herefordshire village.
The Roman Road affordable home development in Leintwardine features a mix of two and three-bedroom houses.
Fourteen of these will be for general-needs rent while six are for sale on a shared-ownership basis.
The scheme was commissioned by Festival Housing Group and developed by Shropshire-based affordable housing specialist Saxonby which says the idea is currently the UK’s biggest in a rural setting.
It will be opened by Herefordshire Council chairman, Councillor Olwyn Barnett, on March 16 when the public can look around between 11.30am and 3pm.
Roman Road, Leintwardine
