CHURCH - A very well attended Christmas bazaar took place in Saint Mary Magdalene Church on December 10. The service of nine lessons and carols will be on Sunday, at 6.30pm. Wednesday, carol singers will be going round the village. Proceeds from the money they hope to collect will be donated to CLIC, a charity which supports children and young people who suffer from cancer.
FILM - The last film for 2011, True Grit (15), will be shown in the village hall tomorrow (Friday) with doors opening at 7pm.
SOCIAL WHIST DRIVE - On Monday players will meet at 7.45pm for their monthly whist drive.
