A FASHION show has raised money for the renovation of Hay-on-Wye’s Cheese Market.
The catwalk show, pictured, held at The Swan was the second to be organised by local people campaigning to keep the 19th century building open and raised £940 for the long-awaited restoration.
The Cheese Market in Memorial Square was built in 1840 and had served as a manor court, town hall, council chamber and by a photography club before being left empty.
It is now owned by the Hay-on-Wye Community Enterprise CIC.
