CHURCH - A display of knitted scarecrows visited the harvest festival, alongside stunning flower arrangements. Thanks go to everyone who helped and for the supper at Church House, hosted by Hilary and Ian. The next pause for thought will be next Thursday, November 10, at Grove Cottage, the home of Pat and Eddie. The family remembrance service is on November 13, at 10.30am. For the concert in the church on November 19, at 7pm, the title this year is Best of British, with songs from British films and some of the best words from British authors and poets.
No ticket needed. There will be a collection for donations towards the upkeep of the church and refreshments will be served.
Castle Frome’s very own Magic Jack will entertain in the interval.
