AMATEUR DRAMATICS - Tonight (Thursday) and tomorrow (Friday) Woolhope Amateur Dramatic Society will be offering a summer evening of entertainment at Woolhope Parish Hall from 7.30 pm when thhe group will be performing Chook Chook by Fiona Farrell, a modern, moralistic comedy set in a battery farm. In addition they will perform Alan Ayckbourne’s funny, one act play A Cut in the Rates in which a local authority inspector gets more than she bargained for when chasing an unpaid bill. The evening will include singing and a performance of a Monty Python sketch, all for the price of £7 or £6 concessions (including a glass of wine).
