DAFFODIL WALK - On Saturday (note date change) there will be a Daffodil Walk in aid of St Peter’s Church. The day, costing £5 per head, will begin with a soup and bread lunch at Hazel Jones’ home at Y Wen Barn. It will be signposted from the Nags Head Inn on the B4348 on the Hay-on-Wye side of the village.

Everyone who wishes can then take a guided walk through private woodlands - not a long walk but it could be muddy. Then back to Hazel’s home for a cup of tea and a piece of homemade cake. The walk isn’t compulsory; come for lunch, buy a draw ticket and have a chat as you look around Hazel’s garden, then you’ll be ready for cake and a cuppa. For further details, ring Claire on 01981 550462 or Eva on 550282.
