THANK YOU - Thanks go to everyone who took part in the big tidy on March 19, leaving the parish looking its best. Special thanks to Sally Robertson for liaising with the police and the county council and to the WI which provided a welcome tea at the end of the afternoon.

VISIT - Children at Burghill Community Primary School had a visit from Hazel Mwawembe from Malawi. Hazel came to talk to the children about what Concern Universal is doing for the people of her country to help them improve their lives. The children are already very involved in the charity’s work but this was an opportunity to look at the composting and planting methods the people of Malawi are using and for the children to realise the similarities with what they are doing at Burghill. Hazel was given a tour of the school and shown the composting methods used and some of the crops grown.
