TRANSFORMATION - Canon Pyon CE Primary School would like to say a big “thank you” to Howdens, ToppsTiles and the PTA for generously donating a kitchen, white goods and wall tiles to modernise the school’s breakfast club and kitchen area. The children, teachers and parents are delighted with the transformation and, to celebrate, an after-school cooking club has started enabling the children to practice their baking skills in their new kitchen.
FUND-RAISER - On February 26 Lady Bengough hosted a fund-raiser for Combat Stress. The charity supports those servicemen and women suffering physical and mental injuries from war zone service. The coffee morning and bring-and-buy at the Great House raised £2,500.
