A RESPECTED private medical practitioner has won the right to practise again after the General Medical Council (GMC) dramatically reversed its decision to suspend her from all duties.
Dr Sarah Myhill, who specialises in treating ME at her surgery in Llangunllo near Knighton, was called before the board last Spring regarding complaints about her website content and the way in which she had managed a patient.
But a jubilant Dr Myhill, who believes modern medicine has lost touch with patients and considers nutritional, lifestyle and environmental factors during treatment, last week thanked supporters after the GMC accepted there was no proper evidence base to support such claims.
