BRITAIN’S greatest detective will take to the stage in Bromyard this week - but not as we know it.
Sherlock Holmes and his sidekick Watson will appear in a hard-hitting sequel at the Conquest Theatre this Friday (Jan 15).
The Mysterious Case of the Queen’s Knickers finds the pair struggling and advertising for work in corner shop windows.
They uncover a plot to harm the Royal family involving large knickers and some candle-filled Christmas puddings.
The Further Adventures of Sherlock Holmes is produced by the Playhouse Company and written by Richard Brookman.
The adaptation comes four years after the first play but features strong language and is not for the easily offended.
Tickets for the 8pm show are £8, book at conquest-theatre.co.uk or call 01885 488575 for details.
