BBC Radio 2's Allotment Doctor visited Herefordshire to tune into the county's caring side.
Terry Walton, who speaks on the Jeremy Vine show about gardening issues, made a special appearance in Lyde Arundel for the official launch of the latest Wiggly Wigglers catalogue, which helps support Concern Universal.
Mr Walton shared some amusing experiences with those present who were also invited to take part in a Generation Game-style Christmas wreath-making activity.
“We believe that instead of shipping produce around the world for the sake of it, whenever possible, we should be shipping skills to enable local farmers to benefit from local markets like us,” said Heather Gorringe, managing director of Wiggly Wigglers.
“That’s why we are so pleased to be supporting Concern Universal.”
Wiggly Wigglers has added a range of ‘virtual gifts’ to the latest catalogue, where every penny goes straight to Concern Universal.
Full details about its work is in the catalogue, which can be ordered at wigglywigglers.co.uk.
