SIMPSON HALL EVENTS - Today (Thursday) the Retirement Club meets at 2.30pm. On Saturday at 2pm is the Christmas fair, opened by Father Christmas. Donations of bottles, preserves, produce, mince pies, cakes, toys and books will be gratefully received. Draw tickets are now on sale, with a first prize of £100. On Monday there will be a soup lunch in the church and, at 5.30pm, handbell ringing. On November 25, Burghill Bridge Club meets at 6.45pm. On November 26, Bare Bones Drama Group return to perform One Last Card Trick.
