SIMPSON HALL DIARY - Today (Thursday) the Retirement Club has a shopping trip to Chester. On Saturday there is the autumn fair at 2pm. On Wednesday, Burghill CAP meet at 9am and at 7.45pm there is Scottish dancing.
Next Thursday, November 11, Burghill Bridge Club meets at 6.45pm.
FLICKS IN THE STICKS - Showing The Ghost at 8pm in the Simpson Hall tomorrow (Friday).
BONFIRE - Tomorrow (Friday) Burghill Scouts and Guides are holding the village bonfire at Court Farm, Tillington.
Gates open at 6pm, bonfire 6.45pm, followed by fireworks. Adults £3, children £2, under-fives free.
LUNCH - On Monday, St Mary’s Church is holding a soup lunch at 12.30pm and at 5.30pm there is handbell ringing.
