AFRICAN MUSIC - Experience beautiful, forgotten music and hear the fascinating story of one man’s journey to save a sacred harp, the biram, and the rich musical traditions of the Boudouma nomads of Niger from extinction. Mamene Barka, the lone master of the biram, will be bringing his musical skill to St Peter’s Church on November 26, at 7.30pm. Tickets, at the door, are £8, children £3 or a family ticket £20. For more information, call Enid Tarbox on 01981 550683.
