APPEAL - The ladies' Bible-reading fellowship from St Mary’s Church will be holding a coffee morning in aid of the Niger Disaster Appeal on Saturday from 10am until noon in St Mary’s Church, Gladestry. As well as refreshments, cakes, preserves and books will be on sale. World Vision has launched an emergency appeal for Niger as seven million people face severe hunger following erratic rains that have caused poor food harvests and water shortages.
