VILLAGE HALL - After 23 years of service to the village, booking clerk Heather has decided to hand over to Kathy Clarkson who can be reached on 01568 615149. On Saturday there will be a barbecue at the hall starting at 6.30pm, lots of fun and very good value at just £5. Bring your own drinks, cutlery and crockery. To book, ring Phil or Jan on 01568 797748. Each Wednesday, Dinmore Hilbillies linedancers meet in the hall at 8pm.
Everyone is welcome to join the group or just watch and tap their feet. Dot Caldicott on 01568 760645, or Bill Kent on 07980 73330721 can give more details. On Fridays from 6pm until 7pm a new belly dancing class has started.
It's great fun and any age or fitness level can join in. The cost is £5; pay on the door, or speak to Linda on 01568 620228. To offer help or ideas about activities you would like to see at the hall, ring Phil on 01568 797748 or John on 611759. The cost of hiring the hall is still only £5 per hour.
