THE FRIENDSHIP CLUB - On Tuesday, the friendship club will be holding its annual garden party at the home of one of its members. Details available on 01432 820270.
THE Much Cowarne CHURCH LUNCH - The church lunch will be held on Sunday at the Fir Tree Inn at 12.30pm. Admission £12 for adults, £5 for under-13s. Drinks will be extra. There will be an auction of promises and a raffle and all proceeds will go to Much Cowarne Church. For details and bookings, call Sue Thornberry on 01432 820064.
PARISH COUNCILS - The parish councils for Ocle Pychard Group and Much Cowarne Group will both be meeting in Burley Gate Village Hall at 7.30pm on Tuesday. All parishioners are welcome to attend.
PATRONAL FESTIVAL - The Patronal Festival for St James Church, Ocle Pychard, will be from 2.30pm on Sunday, July 25. Cream teas and produce stalls etc. Songs of praise will follow at 6pm.
SUMMER FETE - Burley Gate Pre- School will be holding its summer fete on Saturday from 2pm. Attractions will include a bouncy castle, face painting and tombola. Everyone is welcome.
