BAZAAR - St Mary Magdalene Church will be the venue on Saturday for a coffee and cakes sale and the summer bazaar. This starts at 10am and will run until 12.30pm. There will be books, nearly new clothes, produce and plants and bric-a-brac.

EARDISLEY UNDER THREAT - Following the well-attended meeting held in the village hall in June, a small working group made up of Clive Skelton, Nick Baker, Don and Avril Killick, Nancy James and Derrick Rowland was set up. They would welcome offers of help and they will call a public meeting when necessary.

TENNIS CLUB - Summer holiday coaching activities and competitions are planned for juniors over three days in July. These will start on Monday, July 26, and run until Wednesday, July 28. Times are as follows: 10am to noon, four to eightyear olds; noon to 2pm, nine to 11- year-olds and 2pm to 4pm, 12 to 16- year-olds. Pre-booking can be done at steve@tennishereford. co.uk. There are discounts for members, but nonmembers are very welcome.

FILM - The last evening film for the 2009/2010 season is Glorious tomorrow, Friday. This stars Romola Garai, Bill Nighy, Julie Christie and David Tennant. Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 7.30pm.
