A BEAUTIFUL riverside garden near Hereford is hosting a relaxing afternoon of music from the musicals.
The Hereford Concert Band is set to perform at the Weir Garden on Sunday, July 18 from 2pm.
The Music by the Riverside event will include hits from famous musicals such as Oliver Twist, Mamma Mia and popular wartime tunes.
The Weir Garden, which was created in the 1920s, covers 10-acres and offers dramatic views of the Wye Valley and Herefordshire countryside beyond. Visitors are advised to wear appropriate footwear and clothing for outdoor conditions. The Weir Garden is open from Wednesdays to Sundays, 11am to 5pm, last entry 4.15pm. Normal admission prices will apply. The garden is situated five miles west of Hereford, off the A438.
