FETE - The primary school summer fete and barbecue is tomorrow (Friday) between 3.30pm and 6.30pm on the school playground and field, with free entry for all. Main attractions include a parachute display team (weather permitting), Black Mountains Falconry display, go-karts, bouncy castle, assault course, traditional stalls, skittles, Wii sports room, lucky dip and much more.
PARISH COUNCIL - The next meeting will be in the village hall on July 29, at 7.30pm.
ST MARY MAGDALENE CHURCH - The gift day will be held on Saturday, July 24, 11am to 3pm.
LUNCH CLUB - The next light lunch will be on July 28, in the village hall, 12.30pm to 2pm, costing just £3.50.
MOBILE LIBRARY - The library stops at Swainshill, 11.05am to 11.20am, and at Roman Way, 10am to 10.30am, on Tuesdays, July 20 and August 10.
