Villagers in Wellington have celebrated the opening of their new shop and post office. The new store in Stocks Barn marks the end of nine months of hard work by the Wellington in Shop Action Group (SWAG).
The new venture is called The Shop at Wellington and Post Office and is now run by Marcus Williams, who also owns Canon Pyon Village Stores and Post Office. The shop will be open every day including Sunday mornings (the Post Office on Monday to Saturday mornings) and will specialise in stocking local produce.
