OPEN AIR CHURCH SERVICE- This popular annual event, held on the Village Green, will follow the pattern of an All-Ages Together service and is eminently suitable and enjoyable for everybody, but particularly for families, even if not regular churchgoers, providing an ideal opportunity to worship in the most beautiful surroundings. Sunday, 18th at 11.00am.

TEA IN THE GARDEN- The romantic gardens of Tyrrells Court House, Stretford Bridge, will be open on Sunday 18th at 3pm for ‘Tea in the Garden and Cherry Pick’ Entry will include a cream tea; adults £4.00, children £2.00. Proceeds for the charity Save the Children.

PASTEL PICTURE PERFECT-The WI visited Marion Willcocks at the Forge for this months meeting where Marion demonstrated one of her many skills, the art of drawing with pastels. Pastel combines the convenience of a dry medium with the brilliant colour of paint, and in no time at all, Marion’s drawing of a Scottish lock sprung to life on her easel. HOSPICE TEAS-The Chairman of the Dilwyn Support Group for St. Michaels Hospice, Anna Wellings, would like to thank all those who supported the Teas in the Garden event at Perrymead by kind invitation of John and Jeanette Spackman. £930.05 was raised.
