I READ the Rev Brian Gill's letter: "Women cannot become priests." Oh yes they can!
Eardisley group of seven churches will tell you we were cared for by a woman priest for nearly eight years and she would have made an excellent bishop had she not died prematurely.
As an Anglican woman reader since 1979, both in the Birmingham Diocese and Hereford Diocese, I have been privileged to share ministry with both men and women priests in the Church of God.
The Bible says "by their fruits you will know them." My salvation is through Jesus Christ - Holy Communion is nothing to do with gender - the Holy Spirit sees to that.
