Ross Town 0 Old Woodstock Town 1ROSS put on a far better display than in recent weeks but still went bottom of the GLS Hellenic League Division 1 West. The goal came midway through the second half when a cross was only partially cleared and the ball fell to a visiting striker to tap in. Ross never really threatened the Woodstock goal and strikers Andy Sherlock and Dewi Stuart were lacking any service. The Ross defence, however, did look more solid with Matt Hall and Edward Green doing well in the centre. But the result left the South Herefordshire club rooted to the foot of the table with only Cheltenham Saracens to play. Ross need to pick up three points to avoid finishing bottom and even then they will be dependent on other results.
