Bishop's Cleeve 2 Wellington 3
UNBEATEN Wellington extended their lead at the top of the Midland Counties Floodlit Youth League Southern Division after an excellent win over their nearest rivals.
Cleeve's Tambling opened the scoring after just five minutes but Wellington were back on level terms after 15 minutes when a good run by Will Perkins set up Lou Catley to score from a narrow angle.
The Gloucestershire club moved ahead again five minutes before the interval when James Pickup scored from a corner but Sam McCoy, who missed a good chance at the start of the second period, levelled the scores for a second time after good work by Nick Panniers on the right.
McCoy grabbed the winner when he smashed the ball into the net from 14 yards.
