Pegasus Ladies 4 Worcester City 1

THREE goals in the first 11 minutes set Pegasus on their way to a comfortable win over their local rivals in the West Midland Regional Women's League Division 1 South.

Etty Grenhouse headed home an early Lucy Belcher corner and this was quickly followed by two strikes from Karen Hackley and Julie Nicholas.

Greenhouse scored again following another corner and although Worcester pulled a goal back shortly before the interval, Pegasus by then had firm control. Zoe Skyrme was taken to hospital with a broken arm in the second half.

Bredon 0 Phoenix 3

PHOENIX took another step towards clinching their first Kidderminster Women's County League title with a comfortable, if not entirely convincing, win at Bredon.

All of the goals came in the first half with Emily Gilbert striking twice and Leya Latham thundering home an unstoppable header from a Mel Mayo corner.

Phoenix's three goals took their tally to an impressive 94 in 16 games. Their defence, behind goalkeeper Kirsty Soden, has been no less impressive, however, conceding just seven goals in the season so far.

Leominster Town 2 Hinton 1

A FIRST-half goal by Lucy Harding set Leominster on their way to their second Kidderminster Women's County League win of the season.

With Rhiannon Jones, Annie Davies and Katie Evans all in good form, Leominster extended their lead with a second-half strike from Evans before Hinton set up an exciting finish by pulling a goal back form a free-kick five minutes from time.
