STUART Roberts starred for Miller Boys when they maintained Hereford Snooker League leadership by after beating club-mates Military B 3-2.

Roberts compiled a 97 break - the highest of the season - in his win.

Police A did close the gap with a 4-1 win against Flukey Few, however.

Phil Jenkins the only winner for the away team, while Anthony Jackson had a 34 break for the Police.

Potting Shed M kept in touch with another solid win this time against WTC. Adrian Manning gained the third point before Phil Davies won the last frame for WTC.

Reds got back to winning ways against Herodians. Ron Fields and John Packwood put them 2-0 up but it was left to David Lane to win the decider to secure the points.

Railway found the winning formula at home to Farmers A when Geoff Lisseman and Paul Jones won the first two frames and then John Bartlett made sure of the win.

Conmen's Norman Bain and Lee Silcox ensured a close finish against Potting Shed Z but Gareth Jones won the battle of the captains to gain a 3-2 advantage.

Farmers B edged out Legionnaires, Gough Bromage beating Matt Castledine in the decider.
