THE work in the community of a busy Hereford city priest has been recognised by the Rotary Club of Hereford Wye Valley on behalf of Rotary International.
Andrew Mottram, Vicar of All Saints in Hereford city centre, has been awarded the Rotary Centenary Certificate, given to those who have made an outstanding contribution to the community they serve.
Rev Mottram has been the Vicar of All Saints for more than 14 years and during that time has supervised a transformation of the church and parish from a derelict building with dwindling congregation, to a thriving parish with a fully redeemed and skilfully renovated church building.
Home to a vibrant congregation, the centre is run as a commercial undertaking and used as a city community centre and gathering place, complete with caf and licensed bar.
