AMATEUR theatre group, The Hereford Players, has been successful in its application for a £2,700 grant from the lottery subsidiary Awards for All.
The money will go towards sound and lighting equipment, which will enable the group to tour its productions to village halls and venues throughout the county.
The group is looking to recruit new members for both on stage and behind-the-scenes.
