ALTHOUGH disappointed that Hereford United did not make the Conference Promotion Play-off final, the Vice-Presidents Club officials are hoping the team's fine performances last season will help them recruit more members.
Club secretary Martin Watson said seven new members had joined last season and a number of fans who had been members' guests at matches were considering taking out membership.
At last Monday's annual meeting, attended by 20 members, treasurer Tony Cole reported that during last season £20,500 had been handed to the football club.
It was agreed to raise subscriptions by £25 to £350, the first increase for five years.
United chairman and director of football Graham Tuner and director and company secretary Joan Fennessy attended the meeting.
Officials re-elected were chairman: Phil Cleeton, secretary Martin Watson, and treasurer Tony Cole.
