WESTFIELDS 17th annual sportsmen's dinner proved to be the biggest success yet.
But leading the way in the auction was a rugby item with Jonny Wilkinson's signed England shirt selling for £2,600. Just behind was an autographed Wayne Rooney shirt which went for £1,550.
"The money raised at the event keeps our club going and now that we have 10 teams at Westfields we need an evening like this to maintain the standards we have set," said chief executive Andy Morris.
