HEREFORD United will be bidding for a revenge victory when Burton Albion visit Edgar Street for Saturday's Nationwide Conference clash.

The Bulls came seriously unstuck at Eton Park back in September when a Robbie Talbot hat-trick inspired Nigel Clough's side to a 4-1 win with matters made worse by an injury to Andy Tretton which has sidelined him ever since.

Tretton is still likely to be missing on Saturday but there is better news about another long-term absentee, Steve Guinan, who made a goals-coring return as a substitute at Scarborough on Tuesday.

Guinan's goal was United's 65th in the Conference this season, the most they have ever scored in a Conference campaign - and there are still 14 games to go.

The Bulls' leading scorer fired in two excellent efforts when United beat Burton 4-0 at Edgar Street last season and a repeat of that scoreline would assist United considerably in their bid to cut Chester's lead at the top of the table.

Chester entertain Farnborough on Saturday when United followers will hope that the Hampshire side can repeat the form shown recently when hammering promotion-chasing Aldershot Town 4-0 at Cherrywood Road.

l United's match with Telford United at the Bucks Head has now been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 2.
