FOR a colourful funeral, Carol Aston is at your service. And now the Kington coffin painter - who featured in the Hereford Times last year - is entering history.
Two of Carol's coffins are going off to Russia as exhibits in a Museum of Death displaying the funeral trade through the ages.
The Russians saw her work at a funeral services exhibition in Birmingham and ordered two coffins they could put on display.
Carol, a three-time Turner Prize nominee, painted one coffin in "fun and funky" pebblestones. The other has a "neo-Gothic" look.
Carol works from home with coffins she buys from wholesalers. She has a showroom in AW Hughes and Son Funeral Directors, Kington.
