A HEREFORD school is taking very seriously the need to give modern children a fitter and healthier lifestyle.
Marlbrook School had British gymnast Louise Reading along to give all 400 youngsters a workout.
During a calorie burning day of activities she gave displays and put all 14 classes through their paces.
"This is part of our work to give children a healthy lifestyle. Encouraging them to exercise more is combined with initiatives to promote healthy eating," said Toni Douthwaite, leader of the school's healthy living initiative.
Marlbrook School is making a bid to be recognised as a leader in promoting health and fitness.
