WHEN they heard Hereford's over-60s needed away days, these Herefordshire College of Technology students and their tutor stepped in.
The seven students - all taking the college's travel and tourism course - went on a two-day sponsored walk to Hay-on-Wye, with an overnight stay at Moccas.
Money raised from the walk will pay for a party of pensioners to go to Weston-Super-Mare. The travel and tourism course organises an annual event for charity.
