THE RSPCA is appealing for information after two dead cats were found on a grass verge by the Lower Road Trading Estate in Ledbury.
A passer-by alerted the nearby Leadon Vale Veterinary Centre and an examination revealed that both cats died from similar head injuries.
One was a tabby and white and the other black. Both were neutered males but neither had any identification.
The police have been notified, because the circumstances of the animals' deaths is deemed unusual.
The cats were discovered on Wednesday morning, October 19. Anyone with information should phone the RSPCA on 08705 555999 or veterinary centre on 01531 632276.
